A New Clubhouse
OUR SURF CLUBHOUSE IS ON THE MOVE
Members were informed about the progress being made on the siting of our new Clubhouse at a meeting on Thursday, 18th July, 2013, prior to our Club’s Annual General Meeting.
The Club’s Building Advisory Committee, comprising Rod McKelvey, Ian Preston, Rob Burgess, Eddie Broomfield and Gordon Abbott, along with the Club’s Executive, have worked tirelessly on the siting of our new Clubhouse. Rod McKelvey made a presentation to the meeting on the progress that had been made on the pathway to siting our new Clubhouse. To stay where we are had always been the number one priority of this group.
Discussion followed and many questions were answered.
A Motion was put to the Members.
"That the Woolgoolga Surf Life Saving Club Premises move from its present position to another suitable available site. The Coffs Harbour City Council will negotiate beneficial guidelines to support this move. "
Moved - Trevor Clark, Seconded - Sue Neil, Carried.
Preliminary pictures of our new Clubhouse designed by our architect, Frank Scahill and drafted by Gavin Welsh Drafting were shown to the Meeting.
