The objectives of the Junior Activities section of the club are to ensure those children who register with the club are provided with:
       * The best possible facilities to enjoy their activities
       * The best possible opportunity to participate in club activities
       * The best possible tuition and coaching to complete the age group Surf

Education Program endorsed by the SLSA
       * The best possible opportunity for competition
       * The best possible opportunity to learn and understand the surf and beach
       * To provide an atmosphere which encourages and fosters the transition of children to become active senior life saving members.

Our aim is to introduce juniors to the surf by teaching them the many facets of surf awareness and surf safety.  The Club does NOT teach swimming. Activities are incorporated into the program to improve their surf skills.  A S.L.S.A. Surf Education Program is endorsed which leads to obtaining a Surf Rescue Certificate in the Under 14's. 

All juniors are encouraged to become involved as Cadets eventually becoming fully qualified surf lifesavers.  We try to accomplish this to the best of our ability whilst providing a social, fun environment for the whole family.
